heya folks, its that time of the week again.. we had a small turnout, but
that's pretty understandable. Thanks to those who came along..
Mara, Merc, Princess Aurora, Wildman, Isamu, Paityn and Perci too!

A small speech by Isamu started off the meeting .. some good news and as he
put it, some bad news too.. Isamu has been promoted to Marshal of the other
second corps squad, GWoJ! A hearty congratulations to him! He expressed his
sadness at having to leave us, but his future is bright as he moves on. He
has been a wonderful asset to this squad and will be a wonderful Marshal.
Please join me in wishing him luck in this new journey! I am hoping that he
will pop up on the board and say something *looks at Issy*

With his promotion has come new ideas and fun. We are determined to bring
the two second corps squads closer together. Isamu and myself are working on
some friendly competition between the two squads... not all of it will be
combat, so that the artisans within the squad can participate as well. If
any of you have ideas for fun that you would like to see us do together,
don't hesitate to be mouthy!

Also, I will be sending out ICQ contacts to you all. I expect you to add all
of the GWoJ squad to your ICQ lists, please. And communicate with them!

With one leaving squad, we have 2 new recruits and another recruit that has
been absent for a while - Please give Mara and Mr.Miner a welcome to GoL.
Returning after a lonnnng absence is Princess Aurora (my recruit). If anyone
does not have ICQ #'s for these folks, let me know and I will send them on.

The second speech of the night came from Perci. I asked him to speak about
the Pk attacks we will be launching - since we had several recruits there
who may have been unaware of the plans - I thought this would be a good
introduction. Some comments that I want to pass on about what he had to say
:
The areas in Fel that we will be concentrating on will be: our Fel GoL
tower, Britain graveyard, and Buccs den. I must tell you that this will take
teamwork, practice and patience if we are to achieve what we want to
achieve - let them know that GoL is around in force- ready to attack PKs.
The form of fighting that will be used is the Triad method - consisting of
one mage and 2 fighters (1 archer, 1 melee or 2 melee). Healing each other
will be critical, Keeping each other alive will be critical to winning! The
supplies for this fighting will be supplied by the 2nd corps - and the
targets we have so far will be RIP and the group that frequents Brit
graveyard. When asked what supplies do we still need I was informed that
Pots and bandies are the most needed thing right now. So, gather em up if
you see them, Icq me and I will add them to the fast growing stockpile :) If
you have any questions about all of this, please talk to Perci.. He is far
more informed than I am about it. I am learning as we go!

Another issue that was brought to the table is that Sparring night on Monday
nights needs guards... I believe this would be good practice for us, and
something we can do to help the new recruits and applicants as well as the
rest of the guild. If any of you are interested in helping to guard against
attack, contact Perci. I am sure KoL could use the help so they can continue
to run this event with as few problems as possible.

Is there interest in a mage boat cruise??? <---answer that!

And some really good news to report - Next Sunday at 6pm before mining night
will be Paityn and Pancho's wedding!!! congrats you too. the Venue (for the
moment) will be Merchants guild in Magincia. I ask you two to keep us
updated if anything changes please!

Lastly, I know a lot of you within this squad have been affected directly by
what happened on 9/11. If there is anything that I can do, please let me
know. I have shoulders, ears and arms... use em if you need. My thoughts are
with you. Please take time away if you need - your well being is important
to me...There's not much more I can say about it all except that I know I'm
not the same as I was... Probably like the rest of this country :( *hugs* to
you all. I am happy to know that all of you are ok. I was really worried. :(

We didn't have a hunt last night - I had to log and there weren't a lot of
us to begin with. Next week :)

As usual, any questions, complaints, fussing, humor, etc please air it all!
